Buddha Air issues directive to prevent COVID-19

Kathmandu: Buddha air has come up with new directives to cope with the COVID-19 to prevent rapid outbreak of the deadly virus in the country.

Buddha air’s Coronavirus related directives in line with norms set by World Health Organization comes at time when both domestic and international flights are suspended and the whole country is undergoing the nationwide lock-down to curb the deadly virus.

According to the Buddha air directives passengers on board will not be allowed to use the toilet inside the plane. The passengers suffering from cough, cold, sneezing, body pain that resemble the symptoms of Coronavirus will not be permitted to board the plane.

The plane has suspended the catering services inside the plane for the upcoming flights as one or two air hostess catering the needs of all passengers could possibly spread the virus infection.

Only a limited number of passengers will be allowed to board the plane and all passengers will be obliged to use the sanitizer and no pet animals will be allowed inside the plane. The passengers should maintain social distance while boarding the plane.

Buddha air has instructed all its plane crew to abide by the new directives strictly and not to use anything used by fellow staff.

Plane crew are to bring their snack by preparing at home or take it in the canteen. Mask and necessary essentials have been provided to the crew and they are not allowed to attend any crowd, cinema hall and restaurants (RSS).
