New scheme will be introduced to revive ailing tourism sector: Minister Bhattarai
Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has said that the government is mulling over bringing a new schemes and budget in the new fiscal budget to revive the ailing tourism sector in the country.
Speaking during a meeting with delegation of Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), and laborers associated with Cargo and Couriers in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Minister Bhattarai assured them that joint initiatives will be undertaken to revive the tourism sector by coordinating with the private sector as well.
The delegation of tourism entrepreneurs had called on the Minister Bhattarai to submit a memorandum related to improvement of tourism sector including safety and security of the tourism workers.
