Coronavirus cases jump to 57
Kathmandu: The number of Coronavirus cases in Nepal has jumped to 57 on Wednesday after three more positive cases were detected from Bara and Parsa.
According to Province 2 Ministry of Social Development two positive cases were detected from Bara and one positive case was detected from Parsa. All three infected males tested positive for the virus at National Laboratory based at Teku in Kathmandu.
The virus infected persons include 43 years and 31 years old males from Jitpur Simra municipality and Simrangad respectively while the third infected person is 46 years old male from Birgunj-2.
All these three infected persons had returned from Delhi’s religious congregation recently.With this the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases has gone up to 57 while 16 persons have already returned home after complete recovery from the virus.
