Coronavirus cases jumps to 82

Kathmandu: The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nepal has jumped to 82, after 7 more virus cases detected in Nepalgunj on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population 3 males of 22,30 and 40 years and four females of 9, 32,34,55 years from Nepalgunj -8 at Bheri Hospital in Banke, Nepalgunj tested positive for the deadly virus.

With this, the number of COVID-19 patients in Nepalgunj alone has reached 23, while the total number of confirmed cases in Nepal has gone up to 82. Sixteen such cases have been cured so far and no fatalities have been reported. Now there are a total of 66 active cases in Nepal.

Province no two recorded 13 cases

Bagmati province recorded 7 cases

Gandaki province recorded 2 cases

Province no five recorded 24 cases

Karnali province recorded 0 cases

Sudhurpaaschim province recorded 5 cases
