Ongoing lockdown to be extended
Kathmandu: The ongoing shutdown is likely to be extended for another week as per the recommendation of the the high-level government committee on Tuesday to curb the surge of COVID-19 pandemic.
The high-level government committee for control of COVID-19 in a meeting has recommended the government to extend the ongoing lock-down to prevent the spread of global deadly virus. The cabinet meeting to be held on Wednesday is to decide finally about the extension of the lock down.
The country has imposed lock-down since March 24. The total number of virus cases has soared to 82 while 16 cases have been cured.
