Coronavirus cases spike to 99 with 17 new cases

Kathmandu: The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nepal has spiked to 99, after 17 more virus cases detected in Parsa district on  Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the persons who tested positive for the deadly virus include 10 males, ranging from two months year old child to 66 years old patient and 7 females.

With this, the number of COVID-19  in Nepal has surged to 99 of which 22 cases have been cured so far and no fatalities reported. Now there are a total of 77 active cases.
