Nepal virus cases surges to 134
Kathmandu: Total positive cases of Coronavirus in Nepal has risen to 134 on Monday evening after 13 new cases were reported from Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and Bardiya district.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population six males aged 15, 19, 23, 30, 32 and 38 from Kapilvastu district, six other males aged 24, 26, 27, 30 32, 40 of Rupandehi and a girl child aged 11 from Baridya were confirmed to have tested positive for the virus.
Earlier on Monday morning 10 positive cases of the virus were reported from Kapilvastu. With this Nepal has shown a drastic spike in virus outbreak at a time when lock-down is being relaxed phase by phase.
Nepal now has a confirmed virus cases of 134 of which 33 cases have been cured and no fatalities reported so far. A total of 101 virus cases are active now.
