57 new virus cases detected: Total cases spike to 191

Kathmandu: With sudden spark of 57 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nepal on Tuesday the total positive cases of Coronavirus has jumped to 191.

The patients who tested positive for the deadly virus include 39 males from Parsa, 8 from Kapilvastu, 9 from Rupandehi and one from Bara, said a statement issued by the Ministry of Health and Population Tuesday.

By now Udaipur has reported 32 cases, Parsa 64, Banke 24, Kapilvastu 29, Rupandehi 16, Kathmandu 5, Kailali 4, Rautahat and Bara recording 3 cases each, Baglung and Chitwan recording 2 cases each.

Similarly, Bhojpur, Sarlahi, Saptahari, Bardiya and Kanchanpur districts have reported one virus infected cases each.

Nepal now has a confirmed virus cases of 191 of which 33 cases have been cured and no fatalities reported so far. A total of 158 virus cases are active now.
