313,545 lives lost & 4.6 million infected due to world wide epidemic

Kathmandu: As the entire world struggles against the invisible enemy a total of 313,545 lives have been lost & 4.6 million infected due to the epidemic, while 1.8 million people have recuperated from this deadly virus infection according to Johns Hopkins University as on Sunday.

Russia reported the second highest virus infection rates while the US tops the death tally so far. Italy plans to reopen its economy after death rates slowed down. The latest update on global COVID-19 follows:

The US reported 90,00, deaths, UK 34,546,

Italy 31,763, Spain 27,563, France 27,532,

Brazil 15,633, Belgium 9,005, Germany 7,938,

Iran 6,937, Mexico 4,767, China 4,637,

India 2,871, Russia 2,537, Switzerland 1,879,

Pakistan 834, Japan 713, Bengladesh 314

Nepal reported its first death due to the virus.
