Nepal virus cases spiked to 1042 with additional 156 cases
Kathmandu: Nepal’s Covid-19 cases has spiked to as many as 1042 with additional 156 cases detected from across the country on Thursday according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Those infected with Coronavirus include 29 from Dhanusa, 25 from Jhapa, 20 from Rautahat, 14 from Saptahari, 13 from Surkhet, 8 from Dailekh, 7 from Sarlahi, 3 from Syangja, 2 each from Dolkha, Kailali and Bardiya and one each from Banke, Makanpur, Darchula, Bajhang, Solukhumbu and Navalprasi districts.
One infected person has died of the virus on Wednesday. A 56 years old male from Lalitpur-22 died of the virus infection in Kista hospital.
With this a total of 5 persons have died and 187 have healed from the epidemic while 1042 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Nepal.
