Lock-down extended until June 14 & Flights suspended until June 27
Kathmandu: Nepal government has extended the ongoing nationwide lock-down until June 14 in a bide to prevent further spreading spree of the deadly Covid-19.
The government sources said the Cabinet meeting of council of ministers on Saturday late evening decided to clamp further lock-down in order the curb the fatal effects of the deadly virus in the country after seeing the increasing trend of the virus from across the country.
The government has also suspended the domestic and international flights until June 27. The government also decides to mobilize the army to support police in managing the returnees from abroad.
Earlier, the high-level committee meeting on Friday had decided to bring thte stranded Nepali from abroad and extend the lock-down until June 14.
Nepal has already witnessed 1401 cases of virus with 6 deaths and 206 recoveries so far.
