Nepal witnesses 2099 Covid-19 cases

Kathmandu:Nepal has witnessed a sudden spark of Covid-19 cases despite over 60 days lock-down imposed across the nation.

The number of active cases of Coronavirus soared to as many as 2099 on Tuesday and surpassed the mark of 2000 after 288 new cases were confirmed from across the country according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Those infected cases include 1949 males and 150 females, of which 266 have recovered from the fatal calamity and went home while 8 have succumbed to the deadly contagion.
