US virus deaths spike to 110,932

Kathmandu: The US virus deaths spiked to 110,932 and confirmed cases as many as 1, 956,499 as on Tuesday according to Johns Hopkins University

The world continues to be in the grip of Covid-19 pandemic with world wide deaths soaring to 405,168 and infected cases as many as 7 million with 3.5 million recoveries reported so far.

The US tops the list of death toll due to the Covid-19 with 110,932 deaths while UK reported the second highest death toll of 40,680 and Brazil recorded the third largest death toll of 36,455 people.

Italy reported 33,964 deaths which is the fourth highest in the world while France recorded the fifth highest death toll of 29,212 people.

Spain has the sixth highest death toll of 27,136 people and Mexico has the seventh highest deaths spiking to 13,699 so far.

The US has highest infected virus cases while Brazil has the second highest infected cases and Russia has the third highest infected cases of the virus. UK has the fourth highest infected cases while India reported fifth highest virus infected cases so far. Spain has the sixth highest infected cases in the world.

Nepal reported 14 deaths from Covid-19 so far with 3762 confirmed cases and recoveries as many as 488.

Nepal’s virus cases surpass the  cases of Thailand, Srilanka, Hongkong and many African nations which is definitely a increasing alarm for this country where people have started violating the lock-down rules and even World Health Organization has warned Nepal against easing out lock-downs in this critical juncture.
