Nepal virus cases surpasses 5000 with 2 more deaths

Kathmandu: Nepal’s confirmed deadly contagion has sparked to as many as 5,335 with 273 new cases detected on Saturday with 2 more deaths occurring due to Covid-19.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the infected persons include 92 from Rautahat, Surkhet 40, Dailekh 30, Kapilvastu 25, Banke 18, Rolpa 17 and Sarlahi 13.

Of the total confirmed virus cases 4, 949 are males and 386 females while 913 cases have been discharged from the hospitals so far. The total deaths due to deadly virus has gone up to 18 with two more deaths today.

With total 913 recovery cases, Nepal’s active cases remains at 4422.
