6,211 Coronavirus cases confirmed in Nepal & recovery cases soars to 1041

Kathmandu: At least 6,211 Coronavirus cases are reported to have been confirmed in Nepal with additional 451 new cases found on Monday according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The new cases of 451 found today from across the country is one of the highest daily virus cases.

Those newly infected persons include 22 in Morang, Parsa 10, Rautahat 102, Tanahun 5, Accham 3, Kailali 3, Doti 4, Banke 5, Bardia 16, Pyuthan 3, Dailekh 93, Mahotari 21.

Similarly, Dhanusa 4, Nuwakot 3, Arghakhanchi 3, Chitwn 1, Gulmi 9, Rupandehi 12, Sunsari 3, Jhapa 1, Surkeht 19, Rolpa 4, Kathmandu 4, Dang 43, Dhading 9, Lalitpur 1, Bara 1, Kapilvastu 1, Palpa 10, Sarlahi 23, and Siraha 4.

The officials said the PCR tests now onward will be available at 22 places.
Meanwhile, 67 Covid-19 patients have returned home on Monday after recovery from this deadly contagion. Now, the total number of recovery cases mounted to 1041 and 19 people have lost their lives due to Coronavirus.
