Nepal’s Covid-19 cases spark to 6591

Kathmandu:Nepal on Tuesday also witnessed sudden surge of the Covid-19 cases with 380 new cases found from across the country that culminated into total confirmed cases as many as 6591 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Those infected people include Jhapa-1, Panchathar 2, Sunsari 2, Siraha 2, Rautahat 38, Mohattari 17, Parsa 2, Gorkha 10, Navalprasi east 3, Baglung 1, Tanahun 2, Kaski 3, Syangja 4, Achham 1, Baitadi 21.

Similarly, Doti 20, Kanchanpur 11, Kailali 23, Banke 1, Bardiya 9, Saptahari 3, Arghanchi 9, Rupandehi 1, Dailekh 5, Surkhet 4, Dhanusa 21, Ramechap 1, Salyan 1, Dang 56, Kathmandu 1, Mohattari 72, Morang 1, Rautaht 14, Rolpa 1, Rupandehi 3 and Sarlahi 16.

Of the total 6591 cases 6092 are males and 499 females while 1158 people have recovered from this deadly virus infection by now and 19 people have died of this epidemic.

Nepal’s Coronavirus cases are increasing day by day despite government efforts to contain it. In the early stage there were negligible number of cases in Nepal. But soon after the migrant workers from India, gulf countries and other European countries arrived in Nepal the Covid-19 cases have suddenly spiked to higher levels.

Nepal government’s recent decision to open shops, government offices, private offices and industries inside the districts has also paved the way for the spread of the deadly virus.

If the present rate of rise in Coronavirus cases continues then it can be forecast that the country’s total number of Covid-19 cases will surpass 10,000 with an average surge of just 400 new cases per day within the next two weeks only followed by spike in death as well.
