783 Nepalis return home from Qatar, Kuwait, Australia & Thailand
Kathmandu: As many as 783 Nepalis have returned home on Wednesday morning from Thailand, Maldives, Australia, Qatar and Kuwait.
Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) officials confirmed the arrival of 783 Nepali passengers from the five destinations and further added that Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) conducted three flights and evacuated 78 passengers from Thailand, 143 passengers from Maldives and 258 passengers from Australia.
Likewise, Nepal’s other private Himalaya Airlines brought in 144 passengers from Qatar, while Jazeera Airways evacuated 160 Nepalis from Kuwait.
Nepal army has taken the charge of transferring all these foreign returnees to various holding centers to stay in quarantine before departing to their respective provinces.
Meanwhile,254 Nepali migrant workers from Saudi Arab have arrived in Nepal.
