Covid-19 cases in Nepal surges to 10728
Kathmandu: Nepal reported a total of 10728 confirmed cases of Covid-19 cases on Wednesday according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Officials said sudden spike of Virus cases rose to 10728 after 629 new cases were detected from across the country today.
The number of people recovering from Virus infection has also risen to 2338 after 114 patients of virus returned home today after recovering from the deadly epidemic.
Nepal so far has seen the deaths of 24 people due to Covid-19 despite steady rise in the number of cases after government eased out lock-down models and allowed shops to open, though long route buses and international as well as domestic flights are still suspended.
Only chartered flights are allowed to evacuate the stranded passengers during the lock down.
