Tourism Minister urges Australian ambassador Peter Budd to start business flights

Kathmandu: Tourism Minister  Yogesh Bhattarai has urged the Australian ambassador for Nepal Peter Budd to start business flights between Nepal and Australia.

In a formal meeting held between Australian ambassador Peter Budd and Nepal’s tourism minister Yogesh Bhattarai in Singhadurbar Minister Bhattarai urged Peter Budd to initiate business flights between the two countries.

They also discussed and shared experience related to Covid-19 pandemic and mitigation measures.

Minister Bhattarai also thanked Peter Budd for his support in evacuating stranded Nepalis from Australia to Nepal through chartered flights, while ambassador Peter Budd assured Minister Bhattarai that he would convey his message to the Australian government.

Peter Budd also thanked Minister Bhattarai for his support in repatriating Australian citizens to Australia from Nepal during the lock down phase.
