Coronavirus cases spike to 16,423 with 255 new cases

Kathmandu: Coronavirus cases in Nepal has spiked to as many as 16,423 with 255 new cases including 23 found in Kathmandu valley on Wednesday according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The people recovering from the deadly epidemic is also reported to be on the rise as total recovery tally rises to 77,52 as of this day with additional 253 persons discharged from various hospitals today.

The death tally due to Coronavirus infection has gone up to 35 so far while most of the districts of Nepal are enveloped with the infection of the virus barring four districts not yet infected.

The recent few days have shown slump in the virus infection rates as compared to last week’s recorded infection rates.

With the increased healed cases of Coronavirus reported from various part of the country the total number of active cases of virus remains at 8636 and the percentage of recover cases has been recorded to be above 40%.
