735 Nepalis arrive home from abroad

Kathmandu: As many as 735 stranded Nepalis have arrived home from different countries through chartered flights on Thursday.

At least five different chartered flights were operated to repatriate the stranded Nepalis from abroad.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)  and Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), chartered flights of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), Jazeera airlines, Air Arabia and Himalaya Airlines operated five flights to bring in Nepalis from different countries.

NAC evacuated 150 stranded Nepalis from Kuala Lumpur, while Himalaya Airlines rescued 153 stranded Nepalis from Abu Dhabi and 105 from Shenzhen.
Similarly, Jazeera Airlines rescued 157 Nepalis from Kuwait and Air Arabia rescued  170 Nepalis from Sharjah.
