86,03 active cases of Covid-19 left in Nepal

Kathmandu: As many as 86,03 active cases of Covid-19 are sustained in Nepal although the total confirmed cases are reported to be 16,649 on Friday with additional 118 new cases found today according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The active cases remain at 86,03 after 120 more persons were discharged from various hospitals after recovery from the deadly epidemic which culminated into tally of recovery cases to be 8011 as of this day.

The percentage of infected cases is 48.1 and death tally due to Covid-19 has reached 35 so far.

The Ministry also confirmed that six districts of Nepal are free from infection of Coronavirus which include Dhankuta, Bhojpur, Solukhumbu, Mustang, Manang and Humla.

In the last 24 hours, 4 new virus cases were reported from Province one, 20 from Province two, 51 cases from Bagmati, 13 cases from Gandaki, 12 cases from Province five, 15 cases from Karnali and 3 cases from Sudurpaschim province.
