42 chartered repatriation flights to be operated
Kathmandu: Nepal government has flashed an additional one week long 42 chartered repatriation flight schedule to rescue the stranded Nepalis from various countries for the third phase beginning from July 15 to 21.
The third phase of repatriation flights will begin from the coming Wednesday. According to the new flight schedule, the rescue flights will be operated for Dubai, Abu Dabi, Saudi Arab, Damam, Riyad, Kuwait, Qatar, Baharan and Malaysia where Nepalis are stuck up due to lock down after Covid-19 pandemic.
Government’s high level committee meeting under the leadership of Vice-Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel on Wednesday had decided to initiate the steps for the third phase of repatriation flights to rescue stranded Nepalis from various countries.
As per the new flight schedule, Nepal airlines will operate 16 flights, Himalaya airlines will operate 16 flights, while Air Arabia will conduct 2, Fly Dubai will conduct 2 and Malaysia Malindo will operate 4 flights for this rescue flights.
