Himalayan airlines set to take off for China on July 31
Kathmandu: Nepal’s privately owned Himalaya Airlines is all set to take off for China on a two repatriation flights mission on July 31.
The Himalaya airlines is operating the two flights to China to bring home stranded Nepalis from Kunming who are reported to be stuck up there following Covid-19 scare and its outbreak, said a press statement.
The Nepal-China joint venture has set US dollar 445 as the airfare for the respective flights. The flight operation is being carried out as per the government decision to rescue and evacuate all stranded Nepalis from abroad.
The passengers while boarding the plane will have to show their PCR negative reports which is mandatory said the airlines officials. Besides the passengers will have to stay in quarantine on arrival in Nepal.
Nepal government had been operating chartered repatriation flights to rescue and repatriate stranded Nepalis from abroad during the lock down period. However, the lock down has been lifted, both domestic and international flights are resuming their flights from August 17.
