Navalprasi homestays opening from August 17
Navalpur: Homestays of Navalprasi, Barddaghat are going to be operated from August 17 by adopting safety measures against Covid-19.
Homestay Association of Nepal’s General Secretary Prem Shankar Mardniya said the district homestays are planning to reopen after government decided to ease lock down which were closed for the last four months following Coronavirus pandemic.
There are around 11 homestays on the bank of Narayani river from Gaidakot Municipality to Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality in Navalprasi (Bardaghat-east Susta).
Since homestays are means of self-employment, so plans are underway to operate with new improved model according to Homestay Association chair of Navalpur Rim Bahadur Ale. Ale added that since there were no hustle and bustle of tourists, plans are to start homestays from August 17 only.
Other homestay operators expressed that uncertainty looms large upon the hopes of welcoming tourists even if the homestay are opened due to Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
