Fascinating Greenery of Kalinchowk

Dolkha: Kalinchowk-the famous religious spot-these days is shrouded in fascinating greenery. The spot which remains evergreen with natural beauty and greenery seems to be all the more decorated with the added beauty of nature in rainy season.

Kalinchowk situated at 3842 m above sea level which is a store house of nature culture and religious importance  has been attracting more tourists in season due to the cold weather and amazing beautiful sights of Himalayan ranges

It lies around 17 km away from Charikot the district headquarter of Dolkha and both private and public vehicles are available to reach this spot. The cozy hotels at Kuri bazaar enable the tourists to stay in comforts where more than 60 people can be accommodated at one time.

Kalinchowk which looks as white as ice in winter looks green in rainy season. The beauty of natural greenery coupled with the amazing flora and fauna make this place more attractive.

Visitors including both domestic and foreigner clandestinely come to this village on foot even during the lock down period as they wish to dry their sweats by observing the cool and peaceful environment here.
