Prohibitory orders imposed in Kathmandu until August 26
Kathmandu: Prohibitory orders have been imposed in three districts of Kathmandu valley until August 26 due to increasing risk of Coronavirus with effect from Wednesday night.
The prohibitory orders barring essential services were clamped after Kathmandu valley saw sudden spike of Coronavirus cases and posed high risk recently according to the Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Janak Raj Dahal.
Under this prohibitory orders no one will be allowed to come out of the house and everything will be shut down except medical shops and most essential services.
All other vehicular movement to Kathmandu valley barring vehicles used by security persons, medical persons, most essential goods are prohibited under this order.
The most essential services include medicine, foods, fuel, gas, vegetables, milk, electricity, information and communication, custom, quarantine, isolation, garbage management, hospital, and vehicles used for funeral procession etc.
Religious and cultural gatherings, seminars, cinema hall, party palace, entertainments, saloon, beauty parlor, SPA, swimming pool, gymnastic hall, group games, libraries, museum, zoo, educational institutions, training centers, tuition centers are all prohibited.
On Tuesday only 1016 Coronavirus cases were found from across the country with 205 virus cases detected in Kathmandu valley. Various districts are clamping curfew orders as per the critical situation encountered in the respective district.
