Kathmandu: The government has decided to allow resumption of long distance transports and domestic flights from September 17.
The cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to continue suspending the domestic flights and long distance transports until September 17 in the wake of increasing risk of Coronavirus in the country.
Earlier, the government had postponed the inter-district transports and domestic flights until August 31. However, the government has permitted international flights to resume services from September 1.
Similarly, the government has also decided to add more international flights to rescue stranded Nepali passengers from abroad. Earlier, the government decision to bring around 500 passengers daily from abroad was lambasted.
