Prohibitory order eased in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The prohibitory order imposed in Kathmandu valley to curb the spreading spree of Covid-19 for the last three weeks has been eased from Thursday.

Private as well as public buses can ply on the roads with odd and even number system including taxies and public buses with 16 seats. Taxies are allowed to carry three passengers.

The vehicles carrying milk, vegetables and essential food items can ply and food shops can open up to 11 a.m. and in the evening food shops can open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The shopping mall, fancy shops, shoe shops, cosmetic shops can open from Monday to Wednesday and on Saturday according to the Kathmandu valley’s three district administration offices.

Similarly, cookery shops can open on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday, while furniture shops, automobile shops can open on Monday and Wednesday only.

Footpath shops, vendors, stationery shops and electronic shops, departmental stores can open up to 11 a.m. in the morning and from 4 p.m to 7 p.m in the evening.
