Tourism sector to welcome tourists as flights resume operations

Kathmandu: The tourism sector is all set to welcome tourists with effect from September 17 as domestic and international flights resume operations as per the government decision.

Not only have flights resumed operation, but also hotels and restaurants have started opening to welcome the tourists to revive the ailing tourism sector.

On the other hand, the transport entrepreneurs have also prevailed upon the government to resume the inter-district as well as long-distance bus services with effect from Sept 17 which paves the way for all kinds of passengers including visitors and tourists to reach various tourist destination by following safety measures despite the fear of Coronavirus infection.

Since the tourism sector with various tourist-centered products such as trekking, mountaineering, sightseeing, mountain flights, and cultural tours are on the menu, it is high time that visitors and tourists start to think of visiting Nepal where it is still safe to travel with safety measures.
Meanwhile, the Tourist Bus Association chair Iswor Sharma has also said that the tourist bus services stalled since March 23 will soon be resumed with safety measures to cater to the needs of the tourists.
