October month to see 71 domestic flights daily

Kathmandu: The month of October is to see daily domestic flights as many as 71 according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

The flight numbers were increased with a view to cope up with the possibility of increased number of passengers during the national festival Dashain and Tihar.

The flight schedule flashed so far indicates that the Buddha Air  is going to operate 25 flights a day followed by Yeti Airlines with 18 flights.

Similarly, Shree Airlines is to operate 12 flights a day between October 1 and October 31. Simrik Air and Saurya Airlines are to conduct two flights each a day.

Likewise, Tara Air, Summit Air and Sita Air  are to fly four flights a day to different domestic destinations.

The CAAN has also asked listed domestic airlines to submit their schedules as per the allocation of flight numbers for October. Domestic airlines resumed the flights from September 21.
