Bahrain Royal expedition team reach on top of Lobuche peak
Kathmandu: Bahrain Prince Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s 18 member expedition team has reached on the top of Mt. Lobuche (6100 m) on Saturday morning according to the expedition organizer Seven Summit Treks.
The royal team is reported to have scaled the Lobuche peak at around 8:50 a.m. this morning.
The royal expedition team was supported by expert Sherpas and climbing guides. The world record holder climbers like Kami Rita Sherpa and many other expert Sherpas along with more than 1000 porters are involved in this expedition.
The royal expedition also has plan to ascend the Mt. Manaslu. It is said that this is the first expedition of this season. The 18 member expedition team comprises of 15 Bahrain nationals and three British nationals.
The Bahrain royal expedition team is likely to stay in Nepal for nearly two months.
