Intoxicating sight of Nilgiri and Annapurna mountain

Kathmandu: Mountains have started opening with the advent of winter season. These attractive mountains can have intoxicating effect on any one. Nilgiri is one of such fascinating mountains.

The three ranges of Nilgiri mountain that accompanies with the Annapurna ranges can be seen from Myagdi and Mustang districts.

Nilgiri northern side is (7061m), middle one (6940m) and southern range ( 6839m). Nilgiri was scaled for the first time by a team of Netherland on October 1,1962. The team leader was a French mountaineer known as Li Onel Tere. Nilgiri south and Nilgiri middle was conquered by a Japanese team in 1978 and 1979.
