Simrik Air permitted to rescue Covid-19 patients
Kathmandu: Simrik Air has been permitted to operate rescue operations to rescue the Covid-19 infected persons from now onwards.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal formally permitted Simrik Air to operate chopper rescue flights for COVID-19 patient as Coronavirus cases are increasing across the country according to the Aviation Authority.
The Aviation Authority permitted the Simrik Air to operate the emergency flights on Monday as per the safety guidelines recommended by World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health and Population.
The Chopper rescue flights are being operated in association with Nepal Mediciti Hospital
So far, only Nepal Army was operating similar rescue flights for the virus infected patients. Simrik Air is the lonely air service to get this permission for flights.
