Pokhara Hotels Offer 50% discounts

Pokhara: Pokhara hotel operators have offered 50% discounts to domestic tourists on room rates to attract them at a time when the hospitality industry is crippled by Covid-19 pandemic.

The hotel entrepreneurs said that such discount offer will be valid until the Coronavirus pandemic remains.

According to the Pashchimanchal Hotel Association officials the discount offer on hotel room rents have been introduced to target the domestic tourists, in order to revive the ailing tourism industry as there is no chance of advent of foreign tourists.

The hustle and bustle of domestic tourists has also increased in the lake city as the number of Covid-19 cases is on decreasing trend in the country.

The Pokhara city has more than 700 hotels and restaurant that are currently adversely affected by Covid-19 and expecting immediate revival.
