Incessant snowfall cripples normal life in Mustang and Manang

Kathmandu: The normal life has been crippled in Mustang and Manang after incessant snowfall in these two remote Himali districts in the fast few days.

According to the weather forecasting division, there will be sporadic rains and snowfall at various places across the country until Wednesday.

Reportedly, most of the mountainous regions of Nepal are encountering cold weather and continuous dipping of the temperature. The Lomangthang area of Mustang seems to have recorded a minus 16-degree temperature on Monday.

The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) official Lekhnath Gautam revealed that the mountainous regions above 3000 meters have been receiving heavy and incessant snowfall since Monday evening.
