Four countries including Nepal to discuss jointly on how to revive tourism

Kathmandu: Four countries of the SAARC region including Nepal are to jointly discuss how to revive the ailing tourism industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The four countries include Nepal, India, Maldives, and Srilanka. Indian foreign Minister Jai Shankar while paying an official visit to Srilanka reached a consensus on this agenda.

Such a consensus was reached with Srilankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa during the latter’s visit said a press statement.

The meeting of four countries’ foreign ministers is soon to be held which has been stalled.
