Garuda Indonesia to fly from Jakarta to Kathmandu
Kathmandu: The Indonesian flag carrier air company Garuda Indonesia is to fly direct from the Indonesian capital Jakarta to Kathmandu with effect from June-July 2021.
Society International Travels Services in Nepal has been appointed as its general sales agent (GSA) according to its department chief Sangita Rauniyar.
Rauniyar said the Indonesian airlines-Garuda Indonesia will make fly direct from Soekarno -International Airport in Jakarta to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, from upcoming June-July.
Indonesia cities such as Bali and Jakarta have become a tourist hub for Nepali tourists as the Indonesian government has provided Nepalese visitors with visas on arrival which has made it very comfortable for Nepalese to travel to Indonesia.
Nepal Airlines is also planning to start direct flights to Jakarta from Kathmandu in 2023.
