Cloudy weather for three days
Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology on Friday said that the upcoming three more days will experience partly cloudy weather conditions across the nation.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the sudden change in the weather is due to the low-pressure system that has developed in the southeastern Arabian Sea and the low-pressure developed over the eastern Bihar area in India.
During the upcoming three days the temperature in the day will decrease and the cloudy atmosphere will prevail in the hilly regions of the country which may also be shrouded in dense fog in the lower plains with sporadic snowfall in some areas in Karnali and Sudurpaschhim.
The weather forecasting division also said that Kathmandu’s minimum temperature was 5.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was 18.2 degrees Celsius today. Similarly, the lowest minimum temperature of minus two degrees Celsius was recorded in Jomsom.
