Encountering Mt Gyachung Kang mountain (7952m) which lies in the Khumbu region between Cho Oyu and Mt Everest. It was first climbed in 1964 by Y. Kato, K. Sakaizawa and Pasang Phutar of a Japanese expedition.

The fascinating expedition of yours will be further enlivened by the observance of Sherpa culture and Sherpa lifestyle. A short time flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport will take you to the gateway of Namche Bazaar after you start trekking to Phakding and reach Namche Bazaar.
At Namche, all tourists must stay for two days or more for acclimatization then move towards Dole Machhermo Gokyo and then move ahead towards Gyachung Kang base camp. A few days are spent at base camp for climbing training such as how to use oxygen, mask and regulator, and other equipment.
Usually, three camps are set to approach Gyachung peak. But don’t worry. The Sherpa guides will take care of you all through your expeditions, who will safely take you to the top of the peak and bring you down and enable you to return to Kathmandu from Lukla airport and then retreat to your home safely.
There are a number of travel agents to whom you can trust and contact to book your expeditions. The best seasons could be spring and autumn for this expedition.

Day 02 : Kathmandu. Briefing and shopping.
Day 03 : Kathmandu
Day 04 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, 2800m and trek to Phakding, 2640m. Overnight in.
Day 05 : Trek to Namche Bazaar, 3446m. Overnight in lodge.
Day 06 : Trek to Khumjung, 3790m. Overnight.
Day 07 : Khumjung. Acclimatization day and changing of porters and yaks.
Day 08 : Trek to Dole, 4200m. Overnight in lodge.
Day 09 : Trek to Macchermo, 4410m. Overnight in lodge.
Day 10 : Trek to Gokyo Lake, 4750m. Overnight in lodge.
Day 11 : Gokyo. Acclimatization day.
Day 12 : Trek to Ngozumba Tso, 4998m
Day 13 : Trek to Gyachung Kang Base Camp, 5350m.
Days 14-43 : Climbing Period.
Day 44 : Base Camp cleaning.
Day 45 : Trek to Gokyo Lake. Overnight in lodge.
Day 46 : Trek to Khumjung.
Day 47 : Trek to Phakding.
Day 48 : Trek to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
Day 49 : Fly to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 50 : Sightseeing & farewell Diner
