Nepal Airlines to bring home 17 dead bodies stuck in Malaysia

Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines is to bring home at least 17 dead bodies of Nepalis stuck in Malaysia on Saturday.

According to Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) authorities, the corporation’s-widebody -B-300 will fly to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur tonight at around 11 pm from Kathmandu.

The NAC aircraft will return and land at TIA at around 8: 40 on Saturday morning.

The dead bodies of the migrant Nepali workers had remained stuck in Malaysia after the other flights carrying passengers to Nepal could not bring in the dead bodies.

The NAC has been operating evacuation flights to various destinations to rescue the stranded Nepalis abroad from time to time despite lockdown and Covid-19 pandemic.
