Snowfall witnessed across country
Kathmandu: The mountainous regions across the country have witnessed incessant snowfall and drop in the temperature followed by rains since Saturday due to the presence of a low-pressure weather system according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
The regions having snowfall and rainfall included Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati, and Gandaki. The hill stations around the Kathmandu Valley including Chandragiri, Godawari, Shivapuri, and Nagarkot have seen incessant snowfall.
Following the snowfall in these hills, the domestic tourists are flocking to these hills for fun and enjoyment of snowflakes.
Similarly, the Sudurpaschim Province, the main tourist destination-Khaptad region- which is the confluence of Doti, Accham, Bajura, and Bajhang districts is also reported to have witnessed heavy and incessant snowfall in the last few days.
Likewise, Humla and Jumla regions have also witnessed snowfall and rain since Saturday which has chilled the temperature of that region.
