Snowfall and rain likely until Friday

Kathmandu: Snowfall and rainfall are likely to occur at some places across the nation till Friday according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology on Wednesday.

The rainfall and snowfall are due to the effect of westerly wind and normal to partial weather changes are forecast in Province 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province, the department of weather forecasting said.

Sporadic light rainfall and snowfall are expected in most of the hilly and mountainous regions of the country in and night, while few areas of lower plains are likely to witness foggy weather conditions.
