Yeti Air’s special offer on Valentine Day
Kathmandu. In view of Valentine’s Day, February 14, Yeti Airlines has announced a special offer on Mountain Flight. Passengers traveling for mountain flights will be provided bus service from the airport to their homes.
The old ticket price has been fixed at Rs 8,848. Under the offer, passengers of mountain flights will be given love gifts as well as eight GB of data and a smart telecom SIM card worth Rs 1,000 cash.
Pokhara-Simra flight
Yeti, which has moved ahead with the strategy of expanding the market in domestic flights, will soon launch the Pokhara-Simra flight. Yeti has already made all the necessary preparations to expand its flights to commercial and tourist destinations.
The company has stated that the flight decision will be taken after final discussions with Pokhara’s tourism businessmen and stakeholders, including the chief executive officer (CEO) of Yeti within a week.
Although Yeti has been flying from Pokhara to Bhairahawa and Bharatpur, the flight has now been postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The flight will be launched soon. Yeti is currently flying to 14 destinations. Domestic flights were started on September 19 amid the Covid-19 epidemic. Earlier, international flights were operated from September 4.
Yeti Airlines, a leading private sector airline, is planning to expand its flights by adding more aircraft. Yeti is planning to increase the number of flights as well as destinations by introducing more new ATR-72 aircraft in domestic flights. Yeti’s ATR aircraft will probably arrive in Kathmandu within this month. In addition, it will have six ATR aircraft.
Yeti was operating domestic flights on three ATR aircraft in an open domestic flight following a nationwide embargo to control the Covid-19 epidemic. From next March, Yeti will fly all five existing ATR aircraft. The company also plans to fly the added ATR soon.
After the addition of the aircraft, domestic flights will be operated at full capacity from March, said Sudarshan Bartaula, head, and spokesperson of the air safety department of Yeti Airlines. Yeti is currently flying to nine destinations.
