In March, 15,000 foreign tourists arrived

Kathmandu. After the Corona epidemic and the long shutdown, tourism activity in Nepal has begun to ease. The highest number of foreign tourists has entered Nepal in March so far after the ban imposed by the Nepal government due to the Corona epidemic.

According to the March data released by the Immigration Department, 14,977 foreign nationals from 138 countries have entered Nepal through Tribhuvan International Airport in a month. Of them, 11000 are men and three 3963 are women and 12 are other citizens.

According to the statistics of the department, the highest number of 7,658 tourists have entered Nepal from India in a month. Of them, 6,169 are men, 1,477 are women and 12 are other citizens. Similarly, 1,207 tourists have entered Nepal from China.

There are 1,029 males and 178 females. In one month, 1,703 foreign tourists including 1,056 men and 647 women have entered Nepal from the United States. Similarly, 8,874 foreign tourists had entered Nepal in January and 9,146 in February. Compared to last February, about 5000 more foreign tourists have entered Nepal in March.

Similarly, 9587 foreign tourists have returned home in a month. Of them, 6,663 are men, 2,913 are women and 11 are other citizens. Similarly, 49005 Nepalis have gone abroad in one month. These include 45056, men, 8848 women, and one other citizen. In one month, 71,270 people entered Nepal through Tribhuvan International Airport and 58,592 people left.
