Govt decides to suspend all flights
Kathmandu. The government has decided to suspend all domestic and international flights to curb the growing Covid-19 infection.
As per the decision taken by the Council of Ministers on Sunday, all domestic flights will be closed from midnight on Monday.
Similarly, the government has also decided to suspend flights to all countries, including India, from midnight on May 5.
According to government spokesperson Pradip Gyawali, the decision was taken on the recommendation of the Covid 19 Infection Prevention Steering Committee.
Two flights per week to India, Chartered flights and Rescue flights to continue
The government’s cabinet meeting has also decided to maintain two flights per week with India and operate chartered domestic and international flights besides rescue flights by complying with the safety protocols.
