Chartered flight for Pakistani citizens stranded in Nepal operated
Kathmandu: A repatriation flight for Pakistani citizens stranded in Nepal has been operated on Monday.
Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu arranged a chartered flight to repatriate stranded Pakistani nationals.
The Pakistani nationals were stranded in Nepal following the lockdown imposed across the nation due to Covid-19, and suspension of international flights. They had arrived in Nepal at various times.
The Himalaya Airlines H95891 from Kathmandu to Lahore of Pakistan was chartered for the repatriation of 62 Pakistanis along with the repatriation of 14 Nepalese doctors, who are studying in Pakistan based medical institutes.
