International flights from Thursday, domestic flights from July 1

However, international flights will start from Thursday. The decision was taken by the secretary at the Ministry of Tourism on Wednesday after the cabinet gave the responsibility to fix the date of the flight.

Ministry spokesperson Taranath Adhikari said that regular domestic flights would be launched from July 1.  A statement issued by the ministry’s information officer Prem Subedi said the flights would be only 50 percent as compared to the previous flight numbers.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has been given the responsibility to manage it. It is said that after the decision of the Council of Ministers, ticketing by the airport and the airline company and the return time of the employees of the airline companies outside the valley will be started from a week later.

In international destinations, the flight will start from Thursday on the specified route. The ministry has made public the flight schedule until June 30.
