Monsoon induced disasters prognosticated

Kathmandu: Monsoon-induced disasters are prognosticated from Wednesday onwards according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology Monday.

The department divulged that monsoon-induced disasters such as landslides, floods, and inundations following heavy rainfall in eastern parts and central parts of Nepal are predicated.

It indicates that the regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Province 1, and Province 2 are more likely to be influenced by these monsoon-induced natural disasters.

The department has also appealed to all concerned to take necessary precautions to foil any possible mishap during these days.

Fairly sporadic rainfall is being witnessed across the nation said the department.
