Kathmandu: The country is likely to experience incessant torrential rain along with thunder and lightning in Bagmati, Gandaki, Province 1, and Province 2 in the next few days.

Most of the places across the nation will see light to moderate rain due to the active influence of the monsoon wind and the occurrence of the monsoon low-pressure system near the Tarai region according to the department of Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The Kathmandu Valley is already seeing incessant rainfall and the sky is enveloped by dark clouds. The department of weather said that  the weather will be generally to completely cloudy throughout the country in the next three days with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall at many places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province, and Gandaki Province, and at a few places of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
